To make up for the frustration we incurred during our apartment search, we figured that some retail therapy is needed.
Behold the sale on Rodeo Drive today. Hugo Boss was 25% off, Emporio Armani was 40% off, but we didn’t see too much that we liked there. So naturally, we walked over to Prada, our favorite outlet on the street.
We walked up there, thinking that we wouldn’t spend a penny, but we quickly saw several jackets that weren’t too expensive. I decided to ask the salesperson, Robb, to try some on. While I was gone trying them on, Art told me that the jackets were 45% off. At this point, I knew that we’re buying a few items. After deciding on a bright orange jacket for me, Robb offered us a drink. We took some sparkling water, and continued to look around.
Art and I have been in the market for shoes, and we finally settled on some – but they didn’t have them in our sizes. So then Art finally found a pair of shoes that he liked. I decided to buy those for him. He thanked me profusely.
But the best part – the total bill is < $600. Makes me almost want to buy more. Actually, I would have purchased more if they had that jacket in another color too….
